What
does it mean to become an affiliate?
If you are a Canadian Rugby Union, Club, University or College and
have a Web site, you can become an affiliate. If you are interested
in earning revenue from the traffic that comes to your site, you can
join the CanadaRugbyShop.com Affiliate Program.
Being an affiliate means that you can put links on your site. These
links come in the form of banners and text links. The HTML code for
these links is supplied to you once you join our Program and you can
put these links anywhere you want on your site. We can help you
figure out how to place your links so that they are most effective -
just send us the URL of your site via e-mail.

What
do I need to become an Affiliate?
Just a live website and a bank account in Canada. That's
about it.

What
type of website do I have to have to join the CanadaRugbyShop.com
Affiliate Program?
CanadaRugbyShop.com prefers that you have a website that
provides services and attracts people involved and interested in the
game of rugby, but will consider alternate sites on application.
Please note that CanadaRugbyShop.com reserves the right to terminate
an affiliate who puts links on sites that CanadaRugbyShop.com solely

How
does it work?
A visitor comes to your site. If the visitor clicks on one of
our affiliate links that you have put on your site, that visitor
will be directed to CanadaRugbyShop.com. If that visitor buys
something from us, up to 48 hours after clicking on the link (and
they do not click on another affiliate's site during this time),
then you'll get the royalties.

Our
club has more than one website - do I have to sign up for each
website that I run?
Not at all - you can place the same links and banners on as
many websites as you like, although each royalty you earn will be
credited to the one account only. If you'd like a royalty to go to a
different address, you'll need to set up a separate account.

Can
I put the affiliate links up on others' websites?
If
they give you permission to do so, then sure!
However,
please note that CanadaRugbyShop.com reserves the right to terminate
an affiliate who puts links on sites that it solely considers

How
will our club be paid?
We will make payment approximately 20 days after the last day
of each month for any successful sales that are older than 20 days
and where the total royalty owing is over CAN$50. Affiliates that
have the sum of their royalties equal to or greater than CAN$50 will
have their bank accounts direct credited with this amount. For
security reasons, CanadaRugbyShop.com cannot send money via any
other means. Payment will be made in Canadian currency.
In exceptional circumstances, CanadaRugbyShop.com may make a special
payment, however such a decision to do so is at
CanadaRugbyShop.com's discretion.

How
long do I have to reach the minimum payout amount (CAN$50)?
You will have up to two years after your first royalty credit
after you (a) first signed up, or (b) were last paid through direct
credit, to reach the minimum payout threshold of CAN$50. However, if
you do not reach this amount two years after the first royalty
credit, then this is probably due to your merchant account no longer
being used and it will be closed down. Should this happen, you will
be paid the outstanding amount owed to you.

Will
the royalties in my account ever expire?
No,
however in the event that your account is closed down or the
CanadaRugbyShop.com Affiliate Program is terminated or substantially
altered, you will be paid any outstanding amounts owing to you and
your account will also cease.

Can
you pay by PayPal?
At present we do not pay affiliates by PayPal. However if you
would like us to do so, please let us know by sending us an e-mail.
If the demand is high enough, we'll consider it.

Will
our club be paid every time an order is actually made?
Due to fraudulent orders, customers changing their minds, or
the instance of stock-outs, we can only credit affiliates once the
order is actually shipped. You will know when an order is shipped
and you receive a credit as this will be logged in the
CanadaRugbyShop.com Affiliate Interface. Also, unless you choose
otherwise, you will receive e-mail notification of a credit every
time an order that resulted from your site, is shipped. Please note
that in the rare event of customer credit-card charge backs (funds
reversal) and customer refunds, CanadaRugbyShop.com reserves the
right to deduct the credit from your account again.

What
royalty percentage will our club be paid?
All
royalties start at 5% of all sales, with an additional 2.5% provided
for sales volumes of CAN$3,000 and higher. We may provide a higher
royalty rate based on the volume of your orders.

is the average value of CanadaRugbyShop.com's orders?
Our
average order is valued at approximately CAN$80.

How
will I know how much CanadaRugbyShop.com owes our club?
You
can see a daily update of how much you are owed in the
CanadaRugbyShop.com Affiliate Interface. Your total royalty value
will be available to you in the Sales tab.

How
do I get the code for the links I put on our club site?
You can get the HTML code for your links right from the
CanadaRugbyShop.com Affiliate Interface. All you have to do is copy
the code from the interface and paste it into your own HTML pages.
You can also make up your own links in the links section of the
website, by navigating to the product you'd like to promote, and
entering the product code into the HTML generator.

How
can I change my registration profile?
You will be able to change your registration profile after
you join. Once the registration process has been completed you can
logon to your account and select the "Edit My Affiliate
Information" link to modify your profile.

What
about affiliates and customers' privacy/security?
Privacy:
We protect both our affiliates' and customers' privacy. We built our
affiliate system ourselves and it does not link to any of the
Internet profiling companies' databases. Any information provided to
us will be used for the sole purpose of the CanadaRugbyShop.com
Affiliate Program or CanadaRugbyShop.com's order fulfillment and for
no other purposes.
Security: is of the utmost concern to
CanadaRugbyShop.com. We maintain the strictest level of data
security. All electronic transfer of credit card information is done
by PayPal using a secure transactions server and encrypted. Only
authorized personnel have access to this data.

How
does the CanadaRugbyShop.com Affiliate System work from a technical
perspective?
A visitor to your website will click on a CanadaRugbyShop.com
Affiliate Link which has been customized for you. That link will
contain your Affiliate ID and the details of any specific
CanadaRugbyShop.com catalogues, categories or products to which
you'd like to direct your visitors. The link will take your visitors
briefly to the CanadaRugbyShop.com Affiliate redirection page. This
page will identify your Affiliate ID and issue a cookie to your
visitor's browser containing that Affiliate ID. This cookie will
expire on each user's browser, in 48 hours. In the meantime, should
the customer purchase anything, when they go to checkout, you are
identified as being the Affiliate associated with that order. For
any items, which are payment-authorized and shipped, you'll be
notified by e-mail, and credited in our system. Then, on the 20th of
the following month, if the amount you're owed is older than 20 days
and is CAN$50 or over, you'll be paid by direct bank credit, and
your balance will be adjusted accordingly.

the Affiliate Program open to Rugby Unions and Clubs in the United
States?
Yes
it is. All applications to join the CanadaRugbyShop.com Affiliate
Program from Unions and Clubs in the United States will be reviewed
on application. E-mail notification will be provided on completion
of the approval process.

CanadaRugbyShop.com is a web-based online store with a warehouse in Oakville,
Ontario, Canada. All items are stocked and shipped from our Oakville
warehouse 24- 48 hours from the time the order has been
